Network Membership 
The Network membership is multi-disciplinary and multi-professional, representing a wide range of stakeholders, including:
- Scottish CPHM (CD/EH) Group who report to the Directors of Public Health and the Scottish Affairs Committee of the Faculty of Public Health
- Health Protection Nurses Specialist(Scotland) Network (HPNS)
- The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland(REHIS)
- Scottish Clinical Virology Consultants Group (SCVCG)
- Scottish Microbiology Forum (SMF)
- Society of Chief Officers of Environmental Health (SoCOEH)
- Scottish Public Health Network (ScotPHN)
- Scottish Infection Research Network (SIRN)
- Infection Prevention Society (IPS)
- Public Representative
- Health Protection Scotland (HPS)
Given the "national" nature of the Health Protection Network, formal agreements for members representing local Boards and the Local Authorities to participate in the network are needed.
