CBRN Chemical

CBRN Chemical logoChemical releases may be accidental or deliberate, covert or overt. Following the release of a chemical into the environment, a dynamic risk analysis of the situation informs the nature of the response required.

"CBRN incidents" are distinct from HazMat incidents, in that CBRN involves deliberate release and a response management structure coordinated by the Police.

Guidelines and information have been compiled on the assessment and response to incidents involving specific chemical warfare materials.
