HPS actively participates in health and safety in both occupational and community settings. While recognising the executive, regulatory and enforcement roles of the Health & Safety Executive and Local Authority Environment and Health Services, HPS will work closely with these stakeholders and others to provide expert health advice and guidance on a range of issues such as risk assessment, occupational health issues, Legionella, body and skin piercing, accidents and injuries, duty of care and land use.
