This is an RSS newsfeed of selected environmental incidents reported in the news and published through the Scottish Environmental Incident Surveillance System (SEISS).
SEISS is the mechanism for conducting surveillance of chemical, microbiological and radiological incidents with the added value of details on the response, sources of information and lesson learned.
The system enhances the local, regional and national awareness of incidents and provides a nationwide forum for disseminating information to participating agencies with responsibilities for responding to chemical and environmental incidents that have the potential to impact on public health.
