Surveillance of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection Data

The system collects data on how many urinary catheters are used and how many catheter associated urinary tract infections develop in Scottish hospitals. The main purpose is to describe trends in infection rates, the use of catheters and to assist with reduction in infection and catheter use.
