Following the issue of Health Department Letter (2002)82 (PDF) and 'Preventing Infections Acquired While Receiving Health Care. The Scottish Executive's Action Plan to reduce the risk to patients, staff and visitors' (PDF), there have been and will continue to be numerous documents resulting from the work undertaken by Ministerial HAI Task Force Working Groups, that apply to all those involved in preventing patient infections.
