Re-training for Registered Centres
Centres undertaking re-training can either attend one of the face-to-face training days through HPS, or can opt to undertake the training programme accessible via the HPS website. Most centres choose the training programme via the website for re-training as it is free of charge and can be accessed and completed at a convenient time.
The training programme is produced by Health Protection Scotland (HPS) in collaboration with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and is new in 2015. It is a comprehensive programme which covers the main aspects of yellow fever relevant to YFVCs. The programme should take no more than 2 hours to complete.
The training programme is supplied in enhanced PDF format and will automatically open in Adobe Reader. Please note that this is a large file, so may take a few moments to download. If you have problems accessing the PDF, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any queries concerning the content of the training programme, please contact us at email@example.com.
On completion of the training programme, the doctor who is registered as responsible for the YFVC must fill in and return a Confirmation of Completion form, stating the name of the person who has undertaken the training and confirming that training has been completed by the due date.
Completed forms should either be posted or emailed to:
