Designation fee

A designation fee of £100 is payable for all Yellow Fever Vaccination Clinics (YFVC) in Scotland.

This includes an initial tutor-led training session for one clinical member of staff that will work in the YFVC. 

Additional staff that wish to attend tutor-led training are required to pay a fee for the session. YFVCs will be required to pay a renewal fee of £65 on a two-yearly basis.

Newly applying centres wishing to become designated YFVCs must have had at least one clinical member of staff (that will work in the YFVC) attend a tutor-led training session before their application can be fully processed.

In order to apply for designation as a YFVC in Scotland, the responsible supervising clinician (RSC) must be a GMC registered doctor.

The RSC is required to read the Designation of Yellow Fever Centres Information Pack and complete and sign the application and Conditions of Designation forms within the pack.

Completed application forms should be returned to
