Hepatitis B infection in Scotland - 2015

​​As part of the implementation of the Scottish Government’s Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework in 2011, HPS sought to improve surveillance of hepatitis B infection and its outcomes in association with the HBV testing laboratories and viral hepatitis clinicians. 

This report brings together, for the first time, data from a number of sources to describe the epidemiology of hepatitis B in Scotland with the aim of providing timely information for microbiologists, clinicians, consultants in public health medicine, policy makers, and others involved in the field of hepatitis B infection.
