This document aims to ensure safe and consistent linen management and reprocessing practice within NHSScotland and is intended to cover both health and care settings. This guidance is complemented by the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual ‘Chapter 1. Standard Infection Control Precautions’ which covers safe management of linen at care area level http://www.nipcm.hps.scot.nhs.uk/
