HPS conducted a rapid review of the evidence to determine if the infection prevention and control measures applied in Scotland were suitable for the prevention and management of COVID-19 in health and care settings. The current version of the rapid review, version 4.0, includes literature identified up to 15 June 2020.

The 4 Nations COVID-19 IPC guidance​ (published by Public Health England) is assessed in the rapid review however it should be noted that the rapid review was not used to inform the guidance. 

We will continue to assess the emerging COVID-19 evidence base as required.
